This study presents a comprehensive analysis of the sepal length and sepal width of Iris flowers, focusing on normality tests and the application of statistical methods to assess the distributions of these two variables. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test results indicated that the sepal length (p-value = 0.1706) and sepal width (p-value = 0.0769) do not significantly deviate from a normal distribution at the conventional alpha level of 0.05. Further examination using Q-Q plots supported these findings, demonstrating that both variables exhibit a distribution that closely aligns with the theoretical normal distribution. These insights into the distribution characteristics of sepal measurements contribute to our understanding of Iris flower morphology and provide a foundation for subsequent analyses involving these variables.
