Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

This is to invite you to submit high-quality research articles to the International Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Modelling (IJMAM), formerly known as the Journal of the Nigerian Society for Mathematical Biology.

Manuscripts should be written either using MS Word (most preferred) or in LaTeX. Initial submissions for review can be in MS Word or PDF. There will be a page restriction of a maximum of 26 pages per accepted article. The article should be concise and details of well-established mathematical methods should be omitted. Articles that do not contain significant mathematical content and results will not be accepted for publication.

Citations within the manuscript should be done using the number system i.e., “Following the idea in [7], we have that …”. Theorems, Lemmas, Propositions, Remarks, e.t.c., should be numbered using the Section number where they appear e.g., Theorem 2.1 will appear in Section 2.

References should follow the format shown below:

[1]    Anderson, R. M. and  May, M. (1991).Infectious Diseases of Humans:

dynamics  and Control.  Oxford  University Press, UK.

[2]    Castillo-Chavez, C. and Song, B. (2004). Dynamical models of tuberculosis

         and their applications,Math. Biosci. Eng., 1: 361-404.
