Resum

In this article, we investigated the sensitivity analysis of the transmission dynamics of typhoid fever model with control formulated by Atokolo and Mbah [1]. The existence of the steady state of the model was determined, after which the effective reproduction number of the model was computed using the next generation matrix approach. Sensitivity analysis was then carried out to determine which parameters that should be targeted by control intervention strategies of which the result shows that an increase in the enlightenment campaign, treatment rate and rate of vaccination leads to a reduction in the prevalence of the disease.
